Era a Pennello lime paint, is formulated in the whole respect of traditional and historical “recipes.” It contains hydrated lime, coloring oxides and other natural elements such as linseed oil. The high alkalinity degree typical of lime, makes Era a perfect natural anti mold agent.
Together with “Antiche Patine” semitransparent glazes, Era may be used to imitate the typical features of our Renaissance tradition. Lime paint specially formulated to achieve traditional finishes for modern times. Historically, lime wash was used to protect and decorate the exterior and Interior of buildings. Today, lime washes are used in the restoration of historical buildings and structures, as well as in decorative finishes.
The combination of its Ingredients, and the absorption of carbon dioxide from the air, results in the magnificent surface glow that cannot be duplicated in other decorative finishes. With this lime paint you can obtain a matte, velvet-like to the touch, finish in which a continual aging process enriches the appearance of surfaces treated.
Era a Pennello lime paint is best suited for exterior use when it is necessary to maintain a breathable surface. The use of this lime paint internally is mainly decorative. Lime paint, Era a Pennello, is most suitable for application onto porous substrates- namely limestone, brick, lime and cement mortars, pre-existing lime and gypsum plasters, gypsum plasterboard, moisture-permeable plasters, and walls previously painted with latex paint only.
You can order Era a Pennello in its natural white base, or choose a color of your preference. Choose any color reference from any fan deck (From Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, Farrow & Ball, or Pantone). Please specify the color request in your order notes. Color-tinted orders are subject to change with a coloration fee. You will be notified if any changes to your order are required. By purchasing this product, you are agreeing to these terms.
