Materia Viva is a powder-based mineral wall coating for internal use, based on hydraulic lime, aerial lime, carefully selected aggregates and rheological modifiers to ensure excellent workability.
Materia Viva mixed with Materia Viva Deco Powders creates modern and versatile decorative effects.
Materia Viva combined with Cocciopesto, Shells, Pumice or Cork grains help us to re-discover natural materials and decorative finishes typical of the Italian and Mediterranean architectural heritage, with a very modern approach to interior style and decoration.
Please take note of the color tints in the product brochure so that you can specify the color when you are requesting a quote.

Materia Viva Cocciopesto is made of crushed bricks and roof tiles with selected particle sizes, available in two colors: red and yellow.
Italian architecture has made extensive use of Cocciopesto in the past, as a mortar, plaster or finishing layer.
Materia Viva Cocciopesto is a modern interpretation of the classic cocciopesto plaster, present in the historical building and in the architecture of various Italian cities.

What is the tint charge? Depending on how much tint is needed to create your color, a surcharge will be applied for a light, medium or dark tint. The rate will be applied in proportion to the amount of product being tinted. Advanced Plastering does not apply tint surcharge to sample sizes (1kg).
Light Tint Charge: $20/bucket (20-25kg/5gallons)
Medium Tint Charge: $40/bucket (20-25kg/5gallons)
Dark Tint Charge: $80/bucket (20-25kg/5gallons)

Customer Orders: Marmorino KS (1kg) Tinted to: BM 547 MINT JULEP (Light Color)
Color Match Fee: $60 because we do not have a formula for this color. Tint Charge: $0 because it is a sample size

Customer Orders: Era Veneziana (.5 bucket/10kg/ 2gallons) Tinted to: SW 6958
DYNAMIC BLUE (Medium Color) Color Match Fee: $0 because we have a formula for this color. Tint Charge: $20 because $40/2 (.5 bucket/10kg/ 2gallons).
Example #3:
Customer Orders: VP Toscano (1 Bucket/ 20kg/5gallons) Tinted to: SW 6244 NAVAL
(Dark Color) Color Match Fee: $O because we have a formula for this color. Tint Charge:
$80 because $80/ 1 Bucket(10kg/2gallons)
